Tommy Trinder started his career on the Halls at an early age. He first performed at the London Palladium in 1939 and appeared there regularly. In 1955 he became the host of Sunday Night at the London Palladium, a successful TV variety show. He was also chairman of Fulham Football Club for 21 years.
